  • Conservation – Effective use and management of water to ensure that only the water required for irrigation, and other uses supplied by irrigation                          Infrastructure is diverted from the rivers.

  • Water Supply –Enhance water security to meet future needs.

  • Environmental

       Stewardship – Manage the effects of irrigation on surface and ground water quality, and    

                                                   use beneficial management practices for irrigation and handling of crops     

                                                   to ensure they are safe for consumption.
